AISA - Anji onshore campus (China)
Located in Zhejiang, AISA-ANJI Campus will cater for students in both the middle and high school years. It will offer courses for students in Years 7- 11. The new campus will operate with the full support of the schools in the Adelaide Alliance and Anji Lanrun Angel School. The establishment of AISA-Anji Campus represents an important deepening of the relationship between Australia and China, with long-term benefits for both countries in areas of education and cultural exchange.
The AISA-Anji Campus will have its first intake of students in Years 7- 11 starting semester one in 2021. Students of AISA-Anji will receive recognised English requirements for entry into AISA schools. They can also gain credits towards the SACE. AISA and its member schools have a long history of engagement in China and a desire to build deeper links with a thriving and innovative community with great ambitions for education.
Due to border restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, students from China are very unlikely to travel to Australia at the start of 2021. Students who have nominated to enrol at an AISA school can attend on-campus classes at the AISA-Anji Campus. Adelaide International School will deliver the academic curriculum to classes of students who can now study together with support and supervision provided by local teachers in a technologically advanced environment. AISA schools will also be able to deliver their own curriculum on-line to their students prior to their return to Adelaide. Anji Lanrun Angel School will supplement the curriculum with boarding, evening study and diverse cocurricular opportunities.
The opening of AISA-Anji Campus, will enable us to work with Chinese students and parents to realise their future opportunities. The physical establishment of a campus also serves as a symbol of AISA’s commitment to China, the wider Asian region, and an enthusiasm for global education. We expect this partnership to be the first of many international partnerships that we are developing.
